I specialize in working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, attachment concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral challenges, social struggles, and life transitions. I believe therapy should be more than just talking, it should be interactive, meaningful, and even fun. In fact, I don’t like to think of it as therapy at all. I see it as creating a space where children and teens can explore, discover, build confidence, and develop the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges.
My approach combines Child-Centered Play Therapy, attachment-based interventions, somatic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy when appropriate, mindfulness, expressive arts, and other evidence-based techniques. Sessions may include games, creative activities, movement, visual tools, worksheets, therapeutic drawing, and hands-on experiences designed to help children and teens better understand themselves while building confidence and healthy coping skills.
One of my greatest passions is helping young people understand the connection between their brain, body, and emotions. By learning how the nervous system responds to stress, children and teens can begin making sense of their feelings instead of feeling controlled by them. Together, we’ll build practical skills that build resilience, strengthen relationships, and support lasting emotional growth.
Every child has a story worth telling, and every story deserves to be heard. My goal is to provide a warm, compassionate environment where children and teens feel safe, valued, and understood as they discover their strengths, embrace who they are, and realize that healing and growth are possible.
