Sheron Gittens is a Limited Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Culinary Health and Wellness Educator, and former international teacher and trainer with over two decades of experience in education and mental health. Sheron’s holistic approach to therapy blends mindfulness, cognitive behavioral strategies, and trauma-informed care to empower individuals to lead more balanced, fulfilling lives. She specializes in working with diverse populations, including medical students, immigrants, first-generation individuals, and those navigating complex life transitions.

Sheron believes in meeting clients where they are, using a strengths-based perspective to guide them toward personal growth and healing. Her approach is adaptable, incorporating a faith-based framework when clients find it meaningful. Sheron is particularly passionate about addressing the connection between mental health and nutrition, helping clients integrate wellness into their daily routines. For example, she has supported medical students in managing stress, overcoming test anxiety, addressing imposter syndrome, and enhancing focus through mindfulness practices and nutritional guidance.

Outside of therapy, she enjoys exploring culinary arts as a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Tokyo, finding creative ways to inspire wellness in herself, and spending time creating word search books.
